As more rain is anticipated across the north west of Australia, the heat continues in southern Central Australia. Some of this heat is expected to affect the cities of Melbourne and Adelaide over the coming several days to a week.
The tropical low will have to be watch for possible development into a tropical cyclone as the event unfolds - too early to be certain at this point in time.

It is going to be a warm weekend in Sydney on the edge if the heat trough across southern NSW and NW Victoria. The dry continues – this is relentless – the long range models show only a few hints of rain about 19th February period.
Just to illustrate how dry it is, he front lawn is virtually almost dead in patches. Sydney Bengal so dry over the summer months from mid winter and it is heading close to autumn has to be in the lowest percentile for rainfall!

Apparently some areas have had 200mm overnight with flooding reported in the Kununurra region!
There is the possibility of the formation of a tropical cyclone if the tropical low develops over water.
