Sydney before “climate change” — over 50C, 122F recorded at Windsor Observatory, 1939 « JoNova

Yes i know people will knock back the article because of the source and that the thermometers “were recording higher”. But i look at some of the signs and observations associated with events a ie very thorough temperature observations ie it was still this temperature at 6pm and it got to this temperature at 9am. These observations people have seen me mention just in the past couple of weeks.

And, i again emphasise, even if people believe in climate change, the observations and archives of the past should never ever be ignored or thrown out. That is scientifically and ethically ignorant!

Another strong inversion and temperatures struggling to rise at Penrith 29th December 2019

Another strong inversion and temperatures struggling to rise at Penrith! Into the 40C mark in the Hunter. Temperatures are higher in the Blue Mountains.

Smoke was thick this morning in Penrith - question is is the inversion causing this or is the combination once again not allowing direct sensible heat to overcome this inversion! Anybody?
