This was a close bolt from the slowly weakening LP on the 19th December just after the sunset - the second split storm. This was one of several lightning bolts that hammered around me - rain falling and the
danger of getting struck! I do want to live for more storm chasing It hailed just after this making shooting photography extremely difficult - but I got yet another bolt on video.

Take care, I think in the car’s the safest place to be in that situation. I think there was once a storm chaser/journalist by the name of David Simpson who was indirectly struck around Goulburn around 17 yrs ago that probably ran to Tasmania to live after that.
