Severe Storms eastern NSW 22nd January 2013 2

0122jd06Chased the storms approaching near Richmond today. They were reasonably spectacular contrast wise and likely produced some hail. the obviously lined out and became outflow dominant0122jd11

I did not proceed to chase into the Putty Road and apparently there was a serious accident with car overturned probably caused by the storm itself on the Putty Road! I briefly gave chase to to storms approaching Appin but carefully planned the chase ready to pull out and did so just prior to entering the M7. The 0122jd12storms were on the down hill run.0122jd15

  2. Cheers Colin. The storm was looking good as it approached and quite lightning active in its mature stage. at least it was more of a local chase and not 6 hours of driving!
