Last Thursday 9th December 2021, I has an impromptu chase locally. Thunderstorms developed over the mountains and entered the Sydney basin locally near Penrith.
It should at the least marginally severe structure and a nice base with heavy rainfall.

That storm chased me and smashed into my house flooding the garage, basement and laundry. My car, which was in the garage, was written off. My basement, garage and laundry was 30cm deep in ice!
