Tropical Cyclone expected 8th March 2014

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a tropical cyclone watch for a tropical low that should intensify into a tropical cyclone on the 8th March in far North Queensland. March still represents an active phase of the tropical cyclone season and the region tends to maximise rainfall during March. This system will require watching and I obviously heavy rainfall and flooding, strong winds are the main threat at this stage.
