Isolated Northern Tablelands Thunderstorm 2 Jan 2013

Conditions were generally too dry for thunderstorms this day though quite a powerful updraft survived about 30 mins east of Guyra late afternoon.

The atmosphere above the surface was very dry which allowed the energy to boil spectacularly. A little more boundary layer moisture and this storm would have been quite interesting.
