Had a few prior commitments before getting late onto this chase - it was motoring along. Thanks to Nick for the updates on radar and for telling me I won't make it in time haha but still nice storm - supercell.

I left my run to yesterday afternoon when it was looking poor in the morning. Saw the line on radar at 1:30 and dived out the door. Got to the downs but the storm was in an area I was not familiar with, mostly bush and dirt roads. The jeep ate it,. Was quite short lived for me but happy with what I got. I missed out on the big one that came out of Pittsworth and ended up playing tail end charlie driving home. Lot of rain , some small hail though I expect there was more directly underneath. Glad you got some though.

I could see the cloud tops in the distance but it was moving fast. Obviously cannot chase due to the area being outside Sydney.
