It has been nice to see thunderstorms return to the region with today Friday being the third in a row. Although activity locally has been fairly weak so far, some significant storms with hail are likely to have occurred mainly on the eastern Northern Tablelands and parts of the Darling Downs.
Looks like Nambucca Heads just copped a direct hit from a hailstorm this afternoon just before 3pm.
