You are not wrong about La Nina - the pattern is well in place. We have had persistent onshore winds for more than two weeks and this includes widespread thunderstorms on a daily basis across various parts of NSW. I chased on several of those days and got hailstones on most of those chase days. However, this is far short of the hailstone sizes we anticipate at this time of the year. Lets hope December delivers.
