Since the last warm spell, the weather had remained reasonably cool with rather cool nights. However, the weekend proved to be rather warm to hot with a north westerly air stream advecting above average temperatures across the state. Temperatures reached 31C on Saturday 12th and 32C on Sunday. Amazingly, the minimum temperature during Sunday morning was about 7C warming to 28C by 11am! There have been and still are bush fires burning across the state.

Cooler weather this morning as the south east change moved through this morning. There is a potential for thunderstorms mostly elevated today. Tomorrow there is higher likelihood of thunderstorms as the change stalls.
