Several properties 5km south west of Walcha had a massive downpour on Tuesday night. One of the people is a work colleague and he recorded 150mm between 8:15 and 9:30pm!! He lost most of the fences on his hobby farm.We got 6mm in town. We were able to watch the light show from a safe distance-just!!

That's a very impressive rainfall for that area, and betters what you'd see during extreme coastal location events. You can see the cell responsible in this radar loop. Notice the stationary red reflectivity due east of the radar (just SE of Woolbrook) between 8pm and 9.30pm EDT
