Hi Jimmy, Been a much quieter week on the North Coast since the storm late on the 1st January. Enjoyed a two hour lightning show as the line of storms advanced in from the WNW - a not so common direction for storms here. Most of the lightning was in-cloud or otherwise obscured though it was occurring multiple times per second at times. These few pics were taken from home at McLeans Ridges. Very strong damaging winds hit. There's a lot of tree damage around the district.     Today it is mild with a fresh and gusty S-SE wind blowing. Some isolated showers have occurred. Inland things have fired up west of Moree and further north. Could be quite a significant storm day tomorrow across a large part of NSW.
