Hi Jimmy - good to see some more solid follow up rain over many parts of Victoria. A strong cold front and pre-frontal trough have led to widespread storms today with some reports of hail over inland NSW too.

This system should deliver more storms over parts of NSW - and hopefully around here - Sunday to Tuesday as the trough stalls.

We ended up with about 30mm of rain as a result of Tropical Cyclone Hamish and a high pressure system directing an onshore flow for a couple of days this week. Certainly could have been a lot wetter with major flooding. The major impact from Hamish appears to have been the bulk carrier which was damaged and has led to a major oil spill over the Southeast Queensland coastline.
