Good stuff Jimmy! Interesting storm with that boundary! I was in and out of heavy rain around Warragamba and Wallacia but only came across the hail near Penrith. Didn’t go any further after that. Saw a few of those good bolts while driving, glad you got some of them!
Some solid bolts. Lightning active. I could see cloud to ground strikes to my west notwithstanding some low cloud hindering visibility at times.
I hate driving in Sydney at the best of times, it would be murderous in the traffic down there for me after ten years out of the joint. Brisbane is becoming the same. I don’t hit the road after work as much as before, the two main routes out of Brisbane just get choked after 3pm. Not only that, the idiots up here just stop in the middle of the road when the hail hits.
