During the first tornado on 22nd May 2016 after the first clear tornado this was observed from inside the hook looking SW

Did anyone see this tornado as the Perryton tornado producing supercell was crossing highway 281 SE of Perryton?

Ok for something different and those that were on the Perryton storm - this was well further east

and just before hail pounded those that were there. This funnel / possible tornado developed inside the notch and then then ropes out only lasted perhaps 30 to 60 seconds.

  1. I sort of lost track of directions within that storm. Was sort of odd compared to Wray, Dodge & Chapman, which were much more straight forward. We sat around the base for ages going one way then the other. I wondered what we were doing. It was clear the base was being held and expanding & when the wall developed soon after that, the first tornado very quickly occurred, then the second tornado very soon after, to the east of the first. The second, which quickly went from stovepipe/cone to dusty ill defined wedge back to diffuse cone, was the one most of the chasers were all over. I don’t think either of these tornadoes were the ones you were referring to Jimmy. The storm was very lightning active some time before it went tornadic, but for me, the noteworthy thing (like Turkey the next day) was the extent and enlargement of the base before the tornadoes happened.

  2. This was after those tornadoes and this set of pictures us looking west and the hook is over the road and S of the road. So well east of those other tornadoes.
