    Here we go lowest on record, −16.1 °C (3.0 °F) at Northolt in January 1962 Makes that headline namby pamby in comparison.
    There is this one as well.
    -4.0 30 November 1978 Pontefract (West Yorkshire)
    If I remember correctly in the seventies the UN and alarmists were screaming “Ice age” we are all gonna die freezing.
