It is March I guess and we are in a period of an active phase for Tropical Cyclone development. Tropical Cyclone Lua has formed off the north west Australian Coast and although not threatening communities at this point given it is too far out, the tropical cyclone is anticipated to head towards the Port Headland and Broome communities at this point.
Tropical Cyclone Lua has achieved severe tropical cyclone status at Category 4 and heading for the Pilbara coastline and about to make landfall. It should weaken into a rain depression quickly as it heads inland.
