He left at 3 so I headed out to chase the supercell coming up from Graton area. Was a very spectacular cell on approach - though pity another storm developed to its west and eventually cut off its energy.
Today should be some more storms in the Northern Rivers, though there is a lot of cloud approaching already.
Went out for a storm chase yesterday. The models indicated some pretty decent action with N winds. Unfortunately, the W winds and drier dew points in the single figures stuffed up the show. I could detect lightning well to the northwest but I didn't bother for lightning. So I headed back.
