Since the weather pattern over the U.S. has calmed for the most part, now is a good time to check out the latest videos from OK and AR! To recap, central Oklahoma area received ~ 1/2" of freezing rain, then 2-3" of sleet on January 28th, followed by 4-6" of snow on the 29th. The southwestern part of OK received much more freezing rain and dealt with power outages and a lot of damage as a result (video to come!).

In Arkansas, after starting off as freezing rain and sleet late in the evening of the 28th, the northern-third of the state received heavy snow throughout the day on the 29th, with most locations picking up 8-12" or more. The middle-third of Arkansas received freezing rain and heavy sleet, with a number of power outages reported in central Arkansas. Heavy snow was also reported in parts of Tennessee, North Carolina and Virginia as the system progressed east!
