Went out for a storm chase yesterday. The models indicated some pretty decent action with N winds. Unfortunately, the W winds and drier dew points in the single figures stuffed up the show. I could detect lightning well to the northwest but I didn't bother for lightning. So I headed back.
This morning I awoke to a weak storm to the north but everything will clear here anyway. hot weather on the way back and from what I saw yesterday, more lightning enduced bushfires!
