Hi Jimmy - Another week passes and the weather patterns remain blocked. A few coastal showers and days into the high 20s have been the result.

Of course the main result of the blocking high in the Tasman has been the extraordinary heatwave over southeast states. Adelaide has broken a number of temperature records including the longest heatwave (35C+ days) for any capital city in Australia, passing a record previously held by Perth. This morning the record for the highest overnight March temp was set. Looks like the string of hot days will continue until Tuesday - which is pretty amazing for March.  VIC and TAS will cop a blast today as well. No doubt some bushfires will amazingly start.
