I certainly have followed what was going on though I am surprised at the extent of the rainfall that has fallen in the region! It is hard to imagine that some have received more rainfall in a few days we receive in a whole year on average. Incredible. The images you have taken certainly can't give a true perspective of what you have described here.
On the other hand, we are starting to get a little dry here with relatively no rain good rains since mid-December. Before you know it, you start to see a little bit of yellow in the grass and so forth - you realise it is starting to dry off in the elevated areas where it drains out quicker.
